Design for Change (DFC) Projects by our Students:

  • Basic Education to 5 Indispensables 2013
    Understanding the importance of the indispensables and in order to get rid of their inferiority complex, students motivated them to learn, sign their names and speak simple phrases in English thereby increasing their self confidence which lead 5 of the indispensables to pass Grade I GESE Exam of Trinity College of London.

  • Stop Begging, Start Working 2014
    We see beggars everywhere we go. Our students dreamt of Beggar - Free India. They pooled up their pocket money and donated petty shops for the beggars who were willing to change their lifestyle.

  • Kids empower Transgenders 2014
    Profoundly affected by the lifestyle of the Transgenders, our students worked to bring a positive change by training them in computer applications. As a result of this initiative, the transgenders were eligible for employment at better environment.

  • Moral Values – “ Etiquette among children!” 2012
    Manners and etiquette for children is considered the most important quality. Inculcating these qualities is not an easy task unless it is in-born. Our students decided to practice the golden words – “Please, Sorry and Thank You” among their friends and experienced the rewarding result.

  • Parenting their Parents 2016
    Every parent has a plan for his/her child. Similarly, every child has an expectation from his/her parents. Our students have made an effort to balance the emotions of the students and their parents without hurting their sentiments and emotions.

    Technology is essential to everyone. But parents feel that the younger generation is obsessed with Technology and is forgetting the real value of human relationship. As an alternative, students have devised a few strategies to use technology in an effective and controlled environment.

  • It’s OK to Spare the Rod 2015
    The student community is very much affected emotionally by physical, verbal and emotional abuse caused due to Corporal Punishment. Our students devised affirmative disciplinary strategies to replace the traditional corporal punishment as an alternate means to improve themselves.

  • Attitude Change 2016
    In the recent years, students’ response to any activity remains passive. To change this attitude, our students took up projects to inculcate the impact of change in attitude towards optimism. Self-motivation was built up and a chain of drastic changes was put forth resulting in a massive impact.

  • Empowering the Digressed 2015
    Our students were worried about the future of the children in the juvenile homes. A visit to the juvenile home made our children train the inmates on yoga, spoken English and craft work enabling them to prepare themselves to face the real world.
